The Minnesota Twins and the Twins Wives Organization and Majors Sports Cafe announced plans for this year’s “Hang with the Majors at Majors” event. The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 30 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Majors’ Bloomington location.
The event provides an opportunity for fans to interact with Twins players when they purchase a private dinner, with proceeds benefiting the Minnesota Military Family Foundation. The Minnesota Military Family Foundation assists deployed military personnel and families during times of financial hardship.
The event will be hosted by the Twins Wives Organization and will feature current Twins players. Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. and last until approximately 6:30 p.m. Only 100 tickets will be sold and are currently on sale for $100 each. Tickets may be purchased at Majors in Bloomington (8301 Normandale Blvd, Bloomington, MN 55438) or by calling Major’s at 951-835-8308.
During the dinner event, the rest of Majors will remain open to the public from 5 to 9 p.m., with Twins players bartending. There will also be an autograph station, tip jars to collect additional donations, contests and the Twins Wives Organization will be selling Twins tank tops for fans to purchase and have signed.
Players and wives planning to participate in “Hang with the Majors at Majors” include Joe and Lisa Nathan, Michael and Claudia Cuddyer, Glen and Alisha Perkins, Kevin Slowey, Mike and Michelle Redmond, Nick and Natalie Punto, Brian and Sarah Buscher and Denard Span.
