Joe,
Big baseball fan (even though I root for the Yanks) and former Stony Brook Alumni. I am sure we went to many of the same places in the heyday! I wish you the best with the elbow. The game needs people like you!

I have a daughter who is going to be 4 years old in June. She calls you and Joe Mauer her "Boys". Several times this winter she would just start crying and when you asked her why she was crying she said, "I just miss my boys Joe Nathan & Joe Mauer!"
Thought that would maybe brighten your day. She prays every night for Joe Nathan's big owie (sp?) to get better!

Keep you head up! Get good rest. I know everyone thinks you're going to need Tommy John surgery...but I don't. We need you at Target Field this year! You're in our thoughts...You have to be fine, so we can STAND UP AND SHOUT! Get well soon.
