Joe, Take your time, rest up, you’ll come back better than ever (although hard to top what you’ve accomplished so far). Gonna miss you in 2010, but already looking forward to 2011!

    Hey! Joe,
What a bummer, but you are under great care and will be back with the same hot stuff you have always thrown.
Looking forward to seeing you next season.
Do ALL the therapy that dr. recommend. Do not skip any sessions. Therapy and hard work will bring you back as good or better (hard to beat) than you have been.
    In my prayers.

Joe, was I freaked out while watching the Twins play today March 31st against the Yanks when they mentioned the Twins wouldn’t have their closer. I thought, how could the Twins trade Joe Nathan, the best pitcher ever! So I googled you and found this website. I wish you all the best with your recovery and can’t wait to see you next season. Hang in there.

    hey joe,

  15. Skip Hassel says:

Joe..I am 64 years old and have been a Twins fan since Ray Moore was the closer. We are going to miss you dearly this year. This Rauch guy we have closing for us now has the tools to do the job until you get back. However I doubt he has the attitude yet. Closers are head cases as you well know. You must have the attitude that they won’t get a hit off me, much less a run. Only you can teach him that and not the manager or anyone else. I am truly sorry that you are out for the year because I do appreciate all you have done for the Twins but you must get through to the new closer and teach him what it takes to seal the deal!! Good luck.

I want you to know that tonight I am thinking and pulling for you. Tonight I am wearing the black Grizzlies jersey you gave me at the end of season years ago. It is opening night here in Fresno. It’s baseball - what the hell, man?

Whenever I wear it, people still comment, so they remember you here. Take care, get well, and tear them up like I know you can!

    Your Fresno Fan

  17. Austin says:

    Hi Joe,
I know that the trainers are not allowing you to look at alternative measures for fixing your arm. They are old school western med.
Please look into A.R.P. wave therapy

They are located in Burnsville Mn. They work with Pro Athletes world wide. I think it would be worth your time>>>

  20. Stephen says:

Hope you feel better soon Joe. Hope to see you pitching on the mound next season.
